PNP Chief Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr. announced another successful anti-illegal drugs operation in Cubao, Quezon City on Wednesday, August 10.

“P87.9-million worth of Shabu, dried Marijuana, Kush, Cocaine and Ecstacy were confiscated during the operation. This is a huge leap in our concerted effort to curb the illegal drug activities,” Azurin said.

Two suspects, in their 20s, were arrested: Riza Bilbao, 25; and Alvin Rapinian, 26.

The arrested individuals will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165.

“The fight against illegal drugs may be complicated but with competence and dedication, the PNP will remain a strong force to counter this social menace,” Azurin said.

A week since Azurin assumed as the country’s top cop, relentless police operations are reaping fruits in police operations against illegal drugs.
