Two motorcyle theft suspects were arrested by police while six motorcycles and assorted parts were recovered in a recent anti-carnapping operations along Langit Road, Brgy. Bagong Silang, Caloocan City.
 
Police General Guillermo Lorenzo T Eleazar, Chief PNP announced the arrest of EMIL RAMIREZ Y CATALAN , 25 years old and ALVIN LORENZANA y SAMBILE , 26 years old at 2:00 PM on Wednesday by elements of District Anti-Carnapping Unit (DACU) Nothern Police District (NPD) led by Police Major Jessie B Misal.
 
Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident the complainant personally appeared in DACU NPD office to report regarding the motorcycle which was allegedly stolen by RAMIREZ along Champaca Extension Area B, Brgy. 174, Camarin, Caloocan City at about 4:30 AM of May 12, 2021. After information was relayed, a follow up police operation was immediately conducted at 2:00 PM of the same date against the suspects which resulted to his arrest and recovery of stolen motorcyles and assorted motorcycle parts.
 
PNP Chief Eleazar said, after the suspect revealed the place where they brought the stolen motorcycle, operatives immediately proceeded at the given address where they caught SAMBILE dismantling stolen motorcycle which resulted to his arrest.
 
The recovered pieces of evidence were one (1) Yamaha Mio Sporty 40C9, model 2018, color matte black, one (1) Yamaha Mio MXI 125, one (1) Yamaha Mio Sporty, one (1) RUSI 125, one (1) MOTORSTAR, one (1) motorcycle (skeleton), assorted Engine parts of motorcycle, four (4) pieces Deformed block, six (6) pieces Rims with tires, two (2) pieces Rims without tires, seven (1) pieces assorted motorcycle pipes, one (1) piece centre stand, two (2) pieces Carrier bracket, assorted tools and six (6) pieces Assorted plate numbers.
 
All recovered motorcycles were subjected for verification wherein two other complainants came out and positively identified their lost/missing motorcycle based on the documents they presented.
 
The suspects were duly apprised of their Constitutional Rights and the nature of their arrest after. They were brought to DACU, NPD for investigation together with the recovered evidences.
 
"With the implementation of our Internal Cleanliness Policy nationwide, there will be absolutely no let-up for PNP on pursuing its mandate. Our clear message right now is that our community's safety and security
is our aim, and the lawless elements are the target", Eleazar said.
