PNP Chief, “Police Nyo Po” Director General Nicanor A Bartolome,  echoed anew the guidance and instructions of President Aquino on the anti illegal-logging campaign as he officially designated a new Police Regional Director for the Caraga Region.

“Heads will roll if logs will continue to roll,” Bartolome reiterated President Aquino’s warning.

Bartolome earlier relieved the former Regional Director for Caraga, including the Provincial Director of Agusan del Sur and six  town Chiefs of Police over alleged unabated illegal logging activities in the region.

Bartolome named Chief Superintendent Carmelo Valmoria as new Regional Director of Police Regional Office 13 in the Caraga Region.

A member of  PMA “Sandigan” Class of 1982, Valmoria is erstwhile Director of the Headquarters Support Service and Base Commander of Camp Crame.

As Regional Director of PRO13, Vamoria will have operational control and supervision over the Police Provincial Offices in Agusan Del Norte, Agusan Del Sur, Surigao del Norte and Surigao del Sur.(PNP-PIO)
