Quezon PNP Arrested 8 Person

Quezon Police Provincial Office (QPPO), it’s city and municipalities caught 8 persons in the performance of their duties yesterday April 19, 2013.Provincial Director of QPPO, PSSupt Dionardo B. Carlos urged other Chiefs of Police to rigidly employ police operations against wanted persons to lessen if not eliminate criminal activities in the province.

He cited the quick response of Candelaria police headed by its Chief of Police, PSupt Francisco Ebreo who caught Nestor Cueto De Ocampo, 48 yrs old after shooting Godfredo Baja De Silva (64 yrs old, married and an ex-Barangay Councilor) at about 7:40 PM of April 19, 2013 at his residence at Brgy. Masin Sur, Candelaria, Quezon. De Silva sustained a gunshot wound at his back lower right ear and was rushed to Peter Paul Hospital for immediate medication but was later transferred to Lucena City Doctors Hospital due to the severe wounds. Thorough investigation and hot pursuit operation is still on-going for the possible apprehension of De Ocampo’s cohort as well as the recovery of the weapon used.  

Other accomplishments were that of Infanta police wherein a team under PSI Rizaly G. Merene apprehended Divina Borreo Sabodogo, 49 yrs old and Christine Gloria Sabodogo @ Tin-tin, 24 yrs old upon the implementation of a Search Warrant issued by Hon. Judge Arnelo C. Mesa of RTC Branch 65 of Infanta, Quezon and led to the confiscation of 6 pcs long packets of suspected shabu, 1 small packet of suspected shabu and other drug paraphernalia’s. Recovered evidences will be submitted to Quezon Provincial Crime Laboratory for examination and necessary documents are being prepared for filing in court.
 
The accomplishment at Lopez, Quezon, wherein joint police operations of Quezon Intelligence Branch under PSupt Sergio G. Vivar and Lopez Police under PSupt Arsenio Bantayan were launched to serve a Search Warrant issued by Hon. Dennis R. Pastrana, Acting Executive Judge of RTC Branch 56 of Lucena City for the Violation of RA 8294 or the Illegal Possession of Firearms, Ammunition and Explosives against Emeterio Magistrado Loresto, 42 yrs old. The team was able to confiscate 1 Taurus .45 pistol with 2 magazines and 24 live ammunition; 1 improvised 20 gauge pistol with 3 live ammunition; 1 cal .38 revolver with 6 live ammunition; and a box of cal .38 ammunition containing 27 empty shells and 5 live ammunition. Suspect is now detained at Lopez lock up jail and a separate complaint for violation of RA 8294 and COMELEC Gun Ban are being prepared for inquest proceedings.
 
Three warrants of arrest was employed by Atimonan police under PCI Jonar R. Yupio who successfully apprehended Rolan Alegre Loma, 24 yrs old for the crime of Qualified Theft; by Lucena City Police under PSupt Allen Rae F. Co who caught Diosdado Dequito Obnamia, 27 yrs old for another crime of Theft; and joint operations led by Quezon Provincial Public Safety Company (QPPSC) under PCI Job L. De Mesa and Macalelon police under by PSI Rheden M, Manalo who captured Ruel Africano Silvala, 41 yrs old for Attempted Homicide.

Another accomplishment was that of Tiaong police, wherein a team led by PInsp Alexander Bautista under under the direct supervision of PSupt Laudemer N. Llaneta arrested Pedro Dinglasan, 47 yrs old after failing to present an STL Collector Identification Card when he was busy counting bets.
