LAMBAT-SIBAT OPERATIONS NET 31 WANTED PERSONS IN A WEEK; 22 illegal drug personalities busted in separate police operations
Extending the long arms of police operatives in ‘Lambat-Sibat’ Phase II, the Philippine National Police recorded a total of 31 Most Wanted Persons (MWPs) arrested for the past week, from July 20 to 26.
During the regular Lambat-Sibat meeting, PNP Director for Intelligence (DI) PDir Generoso Cerbo Jr. reported that since the implementation of Sibat Phase II last July 6, 2015 police operatives from the different PNP units collared 107 or 24% of 440 MWPs listed in different police stations and from the headquarters of NCRPO.
“Many of wanted persons arrested for the past week have existing cases of robbery and theft from year 2012, 2013, and 2014. However, elements of different PNP units are still on guard and looking for the remaining 333 Most Wanted Persons.” Cerbo said.
PDir Cerbo also presented the names of arrested Illegal Drug Personalities in Metro Manila. Through a more aggressive implementation of PNP’s Lambat-Sibat” Campaign, as part of the guidance of Department of Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas II, the collective efforts of CIDG, AIDSOTF, NCRPO and its different police stations resulted in the arrest of 22 Illegal Drug Personalities in NCR.
